# Data integrations

## What is Data Integration?

Data Integration allows you to bring data from multiple external sources into Oculon and use it to build, analyze, and forecast your financial models. It ensures your models are always up-to-date with accurate, real-time data.

### **Step-by-Step guide to create new integration**

1. Go to **Libraries -> Integrations**

Access this from the Libraries on the left side panel of your Oculon workspace.

2. **Choose Your Data Source**

Select the type of data source you want to connect:

* CRM Tool (e.g. HubSpot, Zoho)

* Cloud Databases (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)

* Business Apps (e.g., Salesforce, Google Sheets)

3. **Authenticate and Configure**

Follow the on-screen prompts to authenticate your account.

Configure the connection by specifying the dataset or table you want to import.

4. **Map Your Data**

Match external data fields to corresponding variables in your Oculon model.

Ensure proper alignment to avoid mismatches and maintain data accuracy.
