# Boards

Boards help you visualize your financial models clearly and intuitively. Instead of analyzing raw numbers, you can use charts to spot trends, compare scenarios and versions, and make data-driven decisions faster.

Whether you need a simple line graph for revenue growth or a complex waterfall chart for cash flow, Oculon’s charting feature has covered you!

**How to create a Chart**

1.Navigate to the **Boards** section from left nav

2. Click on '+' anywhere on the canvas, find the chart option from the dropdown and select it.

3. Pick a Chart Type – Fromthe setup panel, choose **line, bar** chart whatever works best!

4. Select variables – Choose one or more variables from the list(variables from all models and database).

5. Select Data – After selecting the variables, add filter like dimensions, scenarios, and time range you want to visualize.

6. Customize It – Adjust chart type, Axes, and number format from display tab.

**Update Data** – Your charts update automatically when your model changes!

**Customize Appearance** – Modify axes, legends, colors, and annotations.

**Export & Share** – Download as images, PDFs, or share interactive links.
