# Navigate the sidebar

> Learn how to move through Oculon quickly with the sidebar.

The sidebar is the fastest way to move between the parts of Oculon you use most often.

## What the sidebar usually contains

Depending on your permissions and enabled features, the sidebar can include models, databases, boards, library resources, integrations, settings, and shared collaboration spaces.

## Use it as a navigation map

The sidebar is not just a menu. It shows how the workspace is organized. If content is hard to find in the sidebar, the broader information architecture may need cleanup.

## Move faster with search

If you know the item name, use search or command palette instead of drilling through every section manually.
