Reporting with AI is about reducing the time between insight and explanation. Instead of only showing the number, AI can help summarize what changed, what matters, and where a stakeholder should look next.

## Good reporting use cases

* drafting a narrative summary for a board
* explaining large scenario or period variances
* highlighting the metrics that changed most
* helping a non-builder understand a model-backed result

## What makes AI reporting useful

The best AI-assisted reporting stays close to the source metrics and makes the assumptions visible. A polished summary is only helpful if it still reflects the correct scenario, time range, and filters.

## Review before you distribute

AI can speed up narrative creation, but you should still review the summary before it becomes part of executive or external reporting.
