# Modeling with AI

> Use AI to speed up model setup, clarify planning logic, and reduce repetitive model-building work.

Modeling with AI is most valuable when it helps you get to a better structure faster. That can include clarifying assumptions, drafting formula logic, suggesting helper variables, or helping a planner understand an unfamiliar model.

## Good uses for AI in model building

* turning a planning question into a structured model outline
* suggesting variable groupings or helper variables
* translating a business rule into formula-ready logic
* explaining how an existing model section works

## Keep the human judgment in the loop

AI can help with speed and interpretation, but the final model structure still needs human review. The planner is responsible for making sure the logic matches the business reality.

## Best place to use it

Use AI at moments where the work is repetitive or interpretive. Do not rely on it as a substitute for confirming ownership, aggregation behavior, or financial policy.
